MAGNETICALLY SOFT MATERIALS

The magnetically soft materials (suitable for making electromagnets) are as follows

1. They have high permeability.

2. The magnetic energy stored is not high.

3. They have negligible coercive force (due to which these are not suitable for making permanent magnets).

4. They have low resonance.
